Adventist Health Glendale Recognized in Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report

Adventist Health Glendale is proud to announce that we have been designated High Performing in Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy) by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice. This designation is the top rating a hospital can earn in U.S. News’ Best Hospitals for Maternity Care ranking.

Nearly 650 hospitals that provide labor and delivery services and submitted detailed data to the publication for analysis. Fewer than 300 hospitals received a High Performing designation, placing Adventist Health Glendale among the top. The annual evaluation assists expectant parents and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive maternity care.

The U.S. News Best Hospitals for Maternity Care methodology is based entirely on objective quality measures, such as C-section rates in lower-risk pregnancies, newborn complication rates, exclusive breast milk feeding rates, early elective delivery rates and vaginal birth after cesarean rates.
