Adventist Health St. Helena Nationally Recognized with an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

Adventist Health St. Helena received an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for spring 2022. This national distinction recognizes Adventist Health St. Helena’s achievements in protecting patients from preventable harm and error in the hospital.

“We achieved this recognition by providing the best possible care to our patients while ensuring they are cared for in a safe and compassionate environment,” says Dr. Steven Herber, Adventist Health St. Helena president. “I am proud we’ve earned another ‘A’ from Leapfrog. This accomplishment is a tribute to our dedicated staff and their concern for the community's well-being.”

The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization, assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D,” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over thirty national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries, and infections. The twice annual grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
