Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare is open and ready to care for patients

News

TULARE – Access to healthcare has expanded in Tulare with today’s grand opening of Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare. The medical office, located on Hillman Avenue, is the first Adventist Health rural health clinic servicing Tulare.

The two providers at the site will offer primary care to patients of all ages as well as specialty care, including endocrinology and general surgery services. The medical practice will introduce dental and additional services to the community in Spring 2021.

A nearly $2 million investment, the newly constructed 20,000-square-foot facility, which broke ground a year ago, features 28 exam rooms, one procedure room and eight dental chairs. Additionally, the medical office accommodates same-day, in-person and virtual appointments, so patients may connect with a provider from the comfort of their home.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to open our first rural health clinic in Tulare and connect patients with critical healthcare services,” said Raul Ayala, MD, market medical officer of the rural health clinics at Adventist Health in the Central Valley. “Our goal is to provide the Tulare community with complete care and Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare is another step in that direction.”

A short five-minute drive from the Adventist Health Tulare medical center, the new rural health clinic joins Adventist Health’s Rapid Care and Physicians Network medical offices in Tulare, which provide urgent and specialty care.

Patients may visit Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare, 2059 Hillman St., in Tulare, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. More information is available by calling 559-605-0090 or visiting TulareCare.com.
