Adventist Health Medical Office – Kerman welcomes Nancy Burchfiel, MSN, FNP-C

News

KERMAN – Board-certified family nurse practitioner Nancy Burchfiel, MSN, FNP-C, has joined the medical staff at Adventist Health Medical Office – Kerman. In addition to providing preventative care, such as wellness checks, well-woman exams and patient education, she treats patients with complex and chronic conditions, including cardiac disease, asthma, obesity, depression and more.

Burchfiel was drawn to healthcare from a young age and is motivated to provide each patient with the appropriate level of care necessary for their health needs.

“I believe in providing care that is founded on valid and current, evidence-based research,” she said. “There needs to be a ‘patient and provider team’ because it takes a collaborative effort to achieve healthcare goals.”

Burchfiel earned her master’s degree in nursing, graduating with distinction, from California State University, Fresno and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from National University, also in Fresno. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and painting.

Burchfiel is welcoming new patients and may be reached at Adventist Health Medical Office – Kerman, located at 1000 S. Madera Ave., in Kerman. Appointments may be scheduled, and more information is available, by calling 559-846-9370.
