Robert Tabrizi, MD, joins Adventist Health Medical Office – Oakhurst East

Patients in the Oakhurst community now have the services of a health advocate available to them at Adventist Health Medical Office – Oakhurst East. The primary care practice has expanded with the addition of Robert Tabrizi, MD, who provides patients with comprehensive medical care, while also counseling them about positive lifestyle changes and choices.

“I believe in shared decision-making when caring for my patients,” he said. “I have been given a gift to care for my fellow man and make a difference in their lives. I have a strong stance on practicing what I preach, and I am advocate for a healthy lifestyle and diet.”

Tabrizi earned his medical degree from St. Georges University, School of Medicine in Grenada and a

bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed an internship and residencies in obstetrics and gynecology, surgery and family medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. During his family medicine residency, Tabrizi served as chief resident.

Tabrizi enjoys mountain biking, physical fitness, including weightlifting, and has a deep interest in marine biology.
