News

DINUBA – Board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner Lisa Sicherman, RN, MSN, CPNP, has joined the staff at Adventist Health Medical Office – Dinuba West. She provides a full range of pediatric care and services such as well-child checks, sports physicals, sick childcare, weight and health management, asthma and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

“I am passionate about the health and well-being of children, adolescents and their families,” she said. “I love the connections we are able to make and know I have a small part in the outcome of their everyday lives.”

Sicherman earned her master’s degree in nursing from California State University, Fresno, graduating as a pediatric nurse practitioner. After receiving her undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico, she was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. Her first tour was at Balboa Naval Hospital on the pediatric floor.

“I fell in love with the kids and their families and have never looked back,” she said.

Sicherman pursued her master’s degree because she wanted to be involved with children and their families at a higher level and make positive changes happen earlier in their care, producing better outcomes.

When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Other interests include gardening, reading, theater and travel. Sicherman has a special interest in music and plays the cello.

Sicherman is accepting new patients and may be reached at Adventist Health Medical Office – Dinuba West, located at 250 W. El Monte Way, in Dinuba. More information and appointments are available by calling 559-595-9890.
