Board-certified gastroenterologist cares for patients in Selma and Fowler

Community members suffering from digestive problems may now find relief with the help of a new local provider. Linda R. Miller, MD, FACP, a board-certified gastroenterologist, is now caring for patients at Adventist Health Selma, Adventist Health Physicians Network – Selma and Adventist Health Medical Office – Fowler. She joins a team of dedicated specialists serving the greater Central Valley area.

Miller specializes in gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), as well as in treatments for cancer, liver disease and pancreatitis. Additionally, she has experience with advanced procedures and tests, including colonoscopies, biopsies and endoscopies. She’s committed to the well-being of her patients by providing proactive care through digestive and nutrition education.

“Every single person is worthy of receiving the highest standard of care possible,” says Miller. “I make every effort to listen and understand the needs of my patients, so I can help them be the healthiest version of themselves.”

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Temple University in Philadelphia, Miller received her Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University, School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Temple University.

Miller brings more than 30 years of clinical practice experience to the Central Valley. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a board-certified diplomate in gastroenterology and internal medicine of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and American Medical Association.

When she’s not practicing medicine, Miller enjoys participating in national and international medical missions, exploring the outdoors and maintaining close relationships with family, friends and her community.
