Adventist Health Tulare opens surgical specialty clinic in Tulare, board-certified surgeons now accepting patients

Adventist Health Tulare is pleased to announce the addition of surgical specialty services at a new clinic in Tulare.

Less than a block from the hospital, at 951 E. Merritt Ave., a new surgery clinic is now open with board-certified surgeons offering a range of surgical services, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. All three surgeons are now accepting new patients.

Satish Kesava, MD – General and thoracic surgery

Dr. Kesava is a general surgeon specializing in thoracic, thyroid, hernia and oncology-related surgeries. He has been caring for patients at Adventist Health for more than 10 years. He earned his medical degree from Rajah Mutiah Medical College in India and completed his general surgery residency at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital/New York Medical Collee. He also completed a fellowship in thoracic and foregut surgery at the University of southern California.

Michael Morell, MD – General surgery

Dr. Morrell earned his medical degree from Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, and completed the general surgery internship/residency program at the University of California, Irvine. He specializes in intestinal surgery and resections.

The new office features five exam rooms and one procedure room and is conveniently located one block from Adventist Health Tulare.
