Adventist Health Physicians Network Welcomes Dr. David Lee and Dr. Nathalie Nguyen

News

Adventist Health Physicians Network would like to introduce Dr. David Lee and Dr. Nathalie Nguyen to our community. Their passion is focused on preventative care so patients can live a healthier life with their loved ones.

Whether you need a family medicine physician - from pediatrics to geriatrics - or a specialist in women’s health - from bump to birth - we have the right physicians for you. Dr. Lee and Dr. Nguyen are here for you!

David Lee, DO, is a family medicine physician practicing at Adventist Health Family Medicine in La Canada. His enthusiasm for healthcare was initially fueled by his interest in helping patients avoid the progression and development of disease and other conditions affecting populations in pediatrics and geriatrics. This passion led him to the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University where he learned to look beyond physical symptoms and understand how lifestyle and environmental factors can impact a patient’s wellbeing.

“I’m motivated each day to get to know my patients to understand every aspect of their lives,” says Dr. Lee. “I’m here for them through all stages of their lives and together we come up with a plan that works for them.”

Dr. Lee takes a collaborative approach to care, which allows patients to be involved. He works closely with them as a partner to develop a treatment plan, and educate them so they understand their diagnosis and treatment

In his personal time, Dr. Lee enjoys playing guitar, piano and golfing. He completed his family medicine residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Michigan and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. For appointments with Dr. Lee, call 818-541-1134.

Nathalie Nguyen, DO, obstetrics & gynecology, practices at Adventist Health Physicians Network Women’s Health in Glendale. She is passionate about her specialty because of its exciting mix of medical care and surgery, which gives her the opportunity to work with her hands. “I love the fact that this is the only specialty in which I can provide care for two patients at once—mother and baby,” she says.

As a doctor of osteopathy, Dr. Nguyen looks at each patient as a whole—not just their symptoms, but their entire physical and mental being. “I love to sit and listen to my patients, taking time to truly hear their concerns,” she says. “In many cases, there may be better options for treatment than medication. Each patient is unique, and I carefully consider that uniqueness as we work together to create a treatment plan that works for them.”

Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in France and later joined family members living in Southern California. Growing up in La Cañada, she often dreamed of working at Adventist Health Glendale. Her dreams led to her current position with a medical group affiliated with the hospital where she practices what she loves.

In her personal time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys visiting museums, bookstores and painting with both watercolor and oil. She attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona and completed her residency at University of California—San Francisco, Fresno campus.
